On April 28th, the Carlos Machado Museum and the LOCAL Food Culture project signed an Agreement that defines a strategic commitment in the scope of the project De Fenais a Fenais (Fenais to Fenais), based on the identification and protection of the traditional Azorean gastronomy.

De Fenais a Fenais - Cultura Matriz do Desenvolvimento Local is a project supported by EEA Grants that observes culture and heritage as development factors that contribute to fairer and more sustainable societies. Its various operations, always based on the concept of inclusive culture, are developed mainly in the northern coastal area of São Miguel Island, between Fenais da Luz and Fenais da Ajuda.

Because we share the same values and wills as the project, LOCAL Food Culture embraces this commitment, with great honor and sense of responsibility, contributing to the elaboration and implementation of community projects that aim at actions of promotion, training, qualification, and innovation of the production processes linked to gastronomy.
