Training for “Local Promoters of the Cultural, Natural and Social Patrimony of Coastal Fishing Communities” is being organized by the Kairós Cooperative to prepare members of the local communities of Fenais da Luz and Fenais da Ajuda to become “Local Promoters of Patrimony.” The aim is to give the local population the necessary tools to recognize the material and immaterial elements that have shaped the collective identity of their communities, so they can become promotors of commercial ventures, especially in the realm of creative and cultural tourism. Aware of the importance of training for the development of local communities, the LOCAL – FOOD CULTURE® team accepted the challenge of being responsible for the sessions on food culture.
